An informative session on PUBERTY at THE VITS SCHOOL INDORE on 3rd October 2023 offered girls in grades 5 to 7 a comprehensive understanding of the physical, emotional, and social changes associated with adolescence. Covering topics from physiological transformations to emotional coping strategies, the session aimed to empower these young girls with knowledge and confidence as they navigate the challenges and triumphs of growing up, promoting self-acceptance and body positivity through the #PubertyTalk and #GrowingUpStrong hashtags.

Our UKG students took the stage by storm during the fancy dress competition: THE FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PARADE, dressed as adorable fruits and veggies. From tiny apples to ladyfingers, pears, grapes, bananas, strawberries and more, their creativity shone brightly. The event was filled with smiles, laughter, and valuable lessons about healthy eating. Donning costumes that resembled fruits, vegetables, animals, and other delightful characters, they brought their chosen themes to vibrant life. JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION
06/09/2023 | Janmashtami celebration at THE VITS SCHOOL
On September 6, 2023, The VITS School celebrated Janmashtami with immense joy. In a special assembly program, students from Pre-Primary to Grade 12 put on a mesmerizing show with their traditional dance and play performances.
Dressed as Shri Krishna, Radha, Gopi, Nand-Baba, Yashoda, Vasudev, Devki and more, they beautifully depicted the glory of Lord Krishna through their dance, music, and play.
During the event, students had the opportunity to share their experiences and reflect on what they had learned from Lord Krishna. Additionally, a short quiz about Krishna was held to both enhance and test their knowledge.
The students also performed a heartfelt prayer dedicated to Lord Krishna and engaged in discussions about his qualities and teachings.

Splash Pool Activity
10/07/2023 | Children enjoyed the second day of our watery wonderland, diving into motor skill development, boosted confidence, and supervised aquatic fun during our water splash activity.
One can’t have more fun than playing with water in a splash pool.
Water play activities strengthen motor skills in young children, build balance and the ability to propel and guide Coordination. Toddlers are very tactile. They like to explore with all their feelings and they enjoy all kinds of sensory activities
THE VITS SCHOOL second day a Pool Party for LKG students* . Students indicated great excitement and curiosity to be a part of this activity. The aim of organizing this event was to create a bond among the students.
They enjoyed a lot with their classmates and it builds team spirit in them. The students loved the activities and enthusiastically enjoyed getting clicked also.
Splash Pool Activity

Water play provides fantastic opportunities for children to develop their motor skills, boost their confidence, and have a blast while staying active. With proper supervision and safety measures in place, THE VITS SCHOOL organized Splash Pool Activity, which was thrilling and an educational experience for the children.
Bubbling with excitement and enthusiasm, the children had a great fun while jumping in the water, splashing water at their friends and playing. It was a fun frolic activity and the little ones enjoyed it to the fullest.

Sports are an important part of one’s life. It develops a sense of friendliness among the children and develops their team spirit. It helps children to develop mental and physical toughness. The school believes that sports is an integral part of education. Umang-The Sports Meet 2022-23 was organized at THE VITS SCHOOL in the month of January. It is one of the most loved events of the year. Students participated enthusiastically in the events and won in different categories.

Students of classes 6-8 visited the Central Museum on 21 sep 2022. The students were taken on a tour of the various galleries such as the gallery showcasing Early Medieval Art to the one showing Late Medieval Art and other galleries including the ones showcasing Indian Miniature Paintings and Jewellery.
Students showed keen interest in learning about ancient tools and weapons. They were fascinated by the ancient artefacts on display and the unique glimpse offered by all the objects and paintings, into the culture and heritage of India.
On the whole, the trip was uniquely educational experience for the students and offered them a much required glimpse into the world of historical India and its impact on the present.

LEARNING AND SEEING ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN EDUCATION....
Children of Pre-Primary wing visited Swami Narayan Temple to receive the blessings of Lord Krishna. Children also chanted shlokas and prayed to receive the blessings of deities. The educational excursion was a blissful experience and great learning for them.
