“Education is not the learning of facts but the training of mind to think”.

Albert Einstein

As aptly said above, in THE VITS SCHOOL, rote learning takes a back seat here as we believe that education cannot be bounded by learning of facts only. We believe that children are not things to be moulded, but they are people to be unfolded. We often are concerned about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today. In The VITS School we firmly believe in raising a complete human, a strong child who can hold his own in the real world.
We believe that a child is born with no limits. VITS is a space where the child discovers life, his voice and his drivers. Our mission is for the child to make his own choices and live life powerfully and happily.
An educational system isn’t worth a great deal if it only teaches young people how to make a living but doesn’t teach them how to make a life. Teaching in THE VITS SCHOOL is not about answering questions but about raising questions – opening doors for them in places wherever their mind takes them. Education begins the moment we see children as innately wise and capable beings, only then can we play along in their world.
In pursuit of bringing a paradigm shift from teaching to learning so that our school remains future focused, our beliefs are firmly entrenched in our souls. For us every child is unique. They matter to us. Every child enjoys learning and has infinite potential. Every child can achieve her full potential in all areas of learning.
Teaching in THE VITS SCHOOL is by example: as they say kids don’t remember what you try to teach them, they remember what you are. Love, care and affection are the supreme forms of communication and stand as the pillars of our teaching methods. We also hold a high moral code of conduct.
THE VITS SCHOOL follows the XSEED Methodology in facilitating academic based learning for our children. Our school provides multifaceted in-house support such as door to door pickup and drop of child, healthy and nutritious lunch in the best hygienic environment and co curricular activities such as vocal music, instrumental music, dance, art and craft, various kinds of sports etc.
As we stride ahead towards the future, I would like to reiterate what Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam said, “Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge and knowledge makes you great.”
