Teachers’ day

We celebrate Teachers’ day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India.At The VITS SCHOOL, the students had organized a lovely program from 9:30 -11:30am, which incorporated a few speeches and song dedicated to teachers.They also entertained teachers by arranging fun games for them. All the teachers were given hand made cards. Finally, the program ended with dance by the teachers and students together.We decided that, the responsibility of teaching should be taken up by the students as an appreciation and change for their teachers. So, from 11:30 onwards Students of grades 6,7 and 8 taught in all the classes and managed the children till 2:30pm.

Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school council is formed at The VITS School and the investiture ceremony held on Monday, 26th August, 2019.The Academic coordinators gave the badges and sashes to the prefects and the Principal presented the sashes and gave badges to the head girl and the head boy. The student’s council took the pledge to hold the motto of the school in high esteem.Tanvi Pateria of Grade 8 is elected as the Head Girl of the school.Ansh Sharma of Grade 8 elected as the Head Boy of the school.The following is the list of Prefects and their respective committee:

Janmasthami Celebration

In order to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, a celebration was organized in The VITS School, Indore. All children, from Nursery to Grade 2, came in traditional dresses. Some boys came dressed as ‘Krishna’ and some girls came dressed as ‘Radha’. Beautiful decorations were put up to make this event more cheerful and colorful. Children danced on the tunes of Krishna. A ‘Matki Phod’ event was also organized to mark the mischievous nature of ‘Bal Gopal’.

The Independence Day has a special place in the heart of every Indian.Not only does it symbolize the celebration of 73 years of Freedom but also extends an emphatic message of the progressive future of our country.Paying tribute to our unsung heroes who made independence possible for India by laying down their lives,the celebration commenced with a patriotic song by the students. It filled the entire atmosphere with a patriotic fervor. Following this was a dance performance and speech which showcased independent India's Culture and Unity in Diversity.

Raksha Bandhan – an only occasion especially for brother and sister, is celebrated on 14th August with great zeal.Lot of interesting activities were organized for Grades 1 to 8.Students made beautiful Rakhis and Cards and expressed their feelings for their loved ones.The students of Grades 6, 7 and 8 poured all the creativity in Thali Decoration activity.
